As such, we treat all members and users with the utmost respect when gathering their personal information. Our aim is for you "our members" to always feel informed and empowered with respect to your privacy on GoldCleats.

Basic Account Information: If you choose to create a GoldCleats account, you must provide us with some personal information, such as your name, username, password, email address, or phone number. On GoldCleats, your name and username are always listed publicly, including on your profile page and in search results, and you can use either your real name or a pseudonym. You can create and manage multiple GoldCleats accounts. Some of our product features, such as searching and viewing public GoldCleats user profiles or watching videos, do not require you to create an account.
If you register and create a personal account with GoldCleats, you provide us with the following information: Name, Email, Address, Password, Age, Nationality and Number which we need to collect and use to offer you a personalized experience on GoldCleats.
When you open an account with GoldCleats, you can add any professional details to your profile--the position you play, previous teams you played for, your agent's contact information is you are represented, schools attended, your primary soccer skills and any other facts you deem relevant. A detailed profile helps increase your chances of being noticed by other people such as your friends, coaches, scouts, agents, teams and colleges and universities. It also means we can show you relevant ads.
After you create an account, you may choose to provide additional information on your GoldCleats profile, such as descriptions of your skills, experience in playing with other teams, coaches that coached you in the past and educational background. You can list honors, awards, professional affiliations, your favorite sports brand, cleats, players, and teams. With your approval, other users may see your information. While you will always maintain the right/option to block other players from contacting you or seeing your account information, you will not be able to block teams, coaches, scouts, agents. To do so, you must contact GoldCleats. Keep in mind that adding more personal information helps to market your skills to a greater audience and help recruiters and teams find you. It also enables us to serve you ads and other relevant content on and off GoldCleats.
Location Information: We may receive information about your location. For example, you may choose to publish your location in your GoldCleats profile. You may also tell us your location when you set your location on GoldCleats. We may also determine location by using other data from your device, such as precise location information from GPS, information about wireless networks or cell towers near your mobile device, or your IP address. We may use and store information about your location to provide features of our Services, such as allowing you to post with your location, and to improve and customize the Services, for example, with more relevant content like local trends, stories, ads, and suggestions for people to follow.
Children's Information: Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
GoldCleats does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13 years (or 16 years, if the user is living in the European Region) without the consent and supervision by their parents or guardians. A user under 13 (or under 16 if living in the European Region) may create an "Account with Parent Supervision" only together with a parent or guardian signing up on their behalf and accepting our Terms and Conditions on their behalf. If you think that your child provided Personal Identifiable Information on our website without your consent as a parent or guardian, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
When you contact our help center, we collect information to respond to your questions and better serve you.
We collect information when you visit the GoldCleats website, use our mobile applications and interact with advertising on GoldCleats.
We collect information when you use the GoldCleats website, GoldCleats applications (for example, GoldCleats for App), and GoldCleats platform technology (such as "Share on GoldCleats" plugins for publishers). For instance, we collect information when you view or click on ads, import your address book, join and participate in groups, participate in polls, install a GoldCleats mobile application, and share articles on GoldCleats.
We collect information from the devices and networks that you use to access GoldCleats. This information helps us improve and secure our services.
When you visit or leave the GoldCleats website by clicking a hyperlink or when you view a plugin on a third-party website, we automatically receive the URL of the site from which you came or the one to which you are directed. Also, advertisers receive the URL of the page that you are on when you click an ad on GoldCleats. We also receive the internet protocol ("IP") address of your computer or the proxy server that you use to access the web, your computer operating system, your type of web browser, your mobile device (including your mobile device identifier provided by your mobile device operating system), your mobile operating system (if you are accessing GoldCleats using a mobile device), and the name of your ISP or your mobile carrier. We may also receive location data passed to us from third-party services or GPS-enabled devices that you have set up, which we use to show you local information (for example, weather information) on our iPad application.
We are constantly innovating to improve our services, which means we may create new ways to collect information on the service.
Because GoldCleats is a dynamic and innovative on-line platform, we seek to routinely improve the services we offer you. We often introduce new features, some of which may result in the collection of new information. Furthermore, new partnerships or corporate acquisitions may result in new features that may result in the collection of new types of information.
We will communicate with you via the GoldCleats messaging inbox, email, and other ways available to us. We may send you messages relating to the availability of services, security, or other service-related issues. We also may send promotional messages to your account inbox or email. You can change your email settings at any time.
There are several ways by which GoldCleats will use and utilize tools to communicate with you. These include communicating through email, notices posted on the GoldCleats website, messages to your inbox, and other means available through our service, including mobile text messages and push notifications. Examples of these messages include: (1) welcome and engagement messages--when you register on GoldCleats, we may send you a series of emails to inform you about how to best use GoldCleats as well as new features (2) service messages--these will cover service availability, security, and other issues about the functioning of GoldCleats (3) promotional messages--these include both email and inbox messages (inbox messages are only delivered to your GoldCleats inbox), and may contain promotional information directly or on behalf of our partners, including new members such as teams or recruiters that join GoldCleats. These messages will be sent to you based on your profile information and messaging preferences. You may change your email and contact preferences at any time by signing into your account and changing your email settings. You can also opt out of promotional messages by sending a request to the GoldCleats Help Center. Please be aware that you cannot opt out of receiving service messages from GoldCleats.
When sending certain communications on GoldCleats, the recipient can see your name, email address, and some network information.
The communication that you initiate through GoldCleats (for example, an invitation sent to a non-member) will list your name and primary email address in the header of the message. Messages you initiate may also provide the recipient with aggregate information about your network (for example, how many people are in your network). Other communications that you initiate through our services, such as a request for an introduction, will list your name as the initiator but will not include your personal email address contact information. Once you have connected with an individual, regardless of who sent the invitation, your contact information will be shared with that individual.
We use the information you provide on your profile to customize your experience on GoldCleats.
We use information that you provide to us to customize your experience and the experiences of others on GoldCleats. For example, when you sign in to your account, we may display the names of new members who have recently joined your network or recent updates from your friends. We also use aggregated information from your network to show you content, such as news relevant to you and your interest.
Information you put on your profile and post on GoldCleats may be seen by others. We do not provide any of your non-public information (like your email address) to third parties without your consent, unless required by law as described in section 2J.
GoldCleats helps you search for other soccer players, scouts, agents, coaches, teams and colleges and universities.
You can search for GoldCleats members, view information about recruiters, communicate with them, participate in Challenges and much more in upcoming updates of our apps and services. For example, you can find members with particular interests or members that you may know from your domestic teams and tournaments. You can also find information about recruiters. We use personal information from GoldCleats, including member profiles, challenges, videos and comments, to inform and refine our search service.
We offer a premium service to recruiters, which can be used to search for, organize, and communicate with potential soccer players. Subscribers to this service may export limited information from members, public profiles to effectively manage candidate sourcing. You can control how your information is exported by changing which parts of your public profile are accessible to search engines.
We offer customized people-search functionality along with organizational and communications tools as part of our GoldCleats recruiter premium service. GoldCleats recruiter service allows subscribers,generally scouts, agents, coaches and teams--to export limited information from members, public profiles, such as the information displayed on your account dashboard, in order to effectively manage candidate sourcing. You may limit or prevent GoldCleats subscribed recruiters from exporting your profile information by configuring your public profile visibility settings to restrict access to these fields. We do not provide email or other contact information to subscribed recruiters. However, if you post that information as part of your profile it will be available to others. A GoldCleats subscribed recruiter may also manage and store information they independently obtained about you outside of the service. Any personal information obtained independently of GoldCleats services are not under GoldCleats' control but are subject to the policies of the GoldCleats subscribed recruiters. We store such information on behalf of the GoldCleats subscribed recruiter who can remove it at any time. We do not further process such information.
We may disclose your personal information if compelled by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if necessary to enforce our user agreement.
It is possible that we may need to disclose personal information, profile information, or information about your activities as a GoldCleats member when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if GoldCleats has a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies (2) enforce the agreement, investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, or protect the security or integrity of our service or (3) exercise or protect the rights, property, or safety of GoldCleats, our members, personnel, or others.
You can change your GoldCleats information at any time by editing your profile, deleting content that you have posted, or by closing your account. You can also ask us for additional information we may have about your account.
You have a right to (1) access, modify, correct, or delete your personal information controlled by GoldCleats (2) change or remove your content and (3) close your account. You can also contact us for any account information which is not on your profile or readily accessible to you. If you close your account, your information will generally be removed from our service within 24 hours. We generally delete closed account information and will de-identify any logs or other backup information within 30 days of account closure, except as noted below.
Please note: information you have shared with others (for example, through inbox, network updates, content sharing, comments on videos, or challenges) or that others have copied may also remain visible after you have closed your account or deleted the information from your own profile. GoldCleats content associated with closed accounts will show an unknown user as the source. In addition, you may not be able to access, correct, or eliminate any information about you that other members copied or exported out of GoldCleats, because this information may not be in our control.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed. For example, we may keep certain information even after you close your account if it is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce this agreement.
Please respect the terms of our user agreement, our policies, and your fellow GoldCleats members.
As a GoldCleats member, you have certain obligations to other members. Some of these obligations are imposed by applicable laws and regulations and others have become commonplace in communities of like-minded members such as GoldCleats. As a GoldCleats member, we expect the following from you:
GoldCleats Global Inc is the sole sponsor of hosted challenges on the application. Apple and Google do not endorse or sponsor any challenges on the application. Instructions to qualify for challenges are described in detail in the challenge section of our application. We do not charge for entry and video submissions are qualifying pieces of content for all challenges.GoldCleats Global Inc. will never ask you for financial information and will not have any monetary related engagements at any time regarding any challenges on our platform.
You have to meet the GoldCleats minimum age requirements to create an account.
As described in Section 2.C of the user agreement, a person must be of minimum age to use GoldCleats. Please refer to the user agreement for details.
We do not share any of your personal information with third parties for direct marketing.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our customers who are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of what personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the names and addresses of those third parties. Requests may be made only once a year and are free of charge. Under Section 1798.83, GoldCleats currently does not share any personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
We take privacy and security seriously and have enabled HTTPS access to our site (turn on HTTPS), in addition to existing SSL access over mobile devices. Also, please know that the internet is not a secure environment, so be careful and select strong passwords.
We have implemented security safeguards designed to protect the personal information that you provide in accordance with industry standards. Access to your data on GoldCleats is password-protected, and sensitive data (such as credit card information) is protected by SSL encryption when it is exchanged between your web browser and the GoldCleats services. We also offer secure https access to the website. To protect any data you store on our servers, we also regularly monitor our system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, and we use a tier-one secured-access data center. However, since the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to GoldCleats. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information. Please note that emails, instant messaging, and similar means of communication with other GoldCleats members are not encrypted, and we strongly advise you not to communicate any confidential information through these means. Please help keep your account safe by using a strong password.
